In the holiday, my brother and  I went to Hoyts Cinemas to watch a movie called Pixels. Before we went into the theatre my mum bought some popcorn so we could eat during the movie. Then we went inside the theatre. I loved watching pixels because all my favourite arcade games were in the movie like PacMan and Donkey Kong.

When the movie finished my mum and dad were waiting outside for my brother and I. After that we went to Wendy’s, we ate burgers, fried chips and drank coke. The food was very yummy.

Afterwards we went back home and watched rugby.  I enjoyed my holidays and it was very fun.

what am i grateful for

This year I am grateful for coming second in high jump and grateful that my team came second in rugby, and helping my mum with her work.

When i came second in high jump, it was hard  because when you make it over, it goes higher and higher. Then when it came higher i failed jumping over the bamboo. I had fun doing it and I am grateful for coming second in high jump.

When my rugby team came second we were happy and  all of the teams we played had fun.  We were passing the ball not being greedy. With the ball you need to let someone that has never had a run have a turn with the ball. Some of the team were good we only  lost twice  but we still had fun playing rugby.

I am proud of the way I help my mum. Sometimes when me and my mum go shopping, i help her find and carry the food. When we get home I take down the washing and set up the table so we can eat.

This year I achieved coming first in high jump and rugby and helping my mum and by December I what to achieve listing to the teacher and be a good learner.   

       

Preparing for Cross Country

Today Room 7 students went out for fitness. Before we ran two laps, we had to stretch. First we jogged and then we had to sprint. It was cold, muddy and wet so I got goosebumps. We were a bit scared to run around the field because it was really big. Room 10 was also there doing laps, but they did even more! As I ran in front of my friend, the wind blew through my ears. When we were finally done, everyone sat down, cooled down and had a drink of water. I felt refreshed but I was tired.

Inquiry roadshow

Today Glenbrae school had our inquiry road show. this is when all the classes share what they have learned during  the term we share our learning by creating presentations posters diagrams and hand - on activities Room 7 had to look after Room 4 kid it was fun looking after them we looked at other classes learning. I saw room 8's learning they had lemon juice and they put baking soda in it. Then it fizzes up.
I liked their video the most.
Here is a picture of me presenting our semaphore flags. We spelled out a sentence and got people to try to solve it. This is how soldiers communicated with other people during war.

Our message read: Room Seven is the best.
We made up our own code for a full stop.

The thung chai if it is looked after well  it should last for five or six years. Fishmen will cover the boats with palm fronds when not using them and also to protect the thung chai from the hot sun
