what is success

Tamaki we were lucky to win all our games in rugby. we had some up and down but most of the time we had up's because we were always motivated and always did some hard out fitness. we did some plays so that when we get on the field we know the calls and know what to do. so we put everything on the field for finals and won with some respect and pride and succussed.

2. 1 of oil
3. 1 cup of sugar
4. 1 tsp of baking soda
5. 2 eggs
6. 1 tsp of vanilla essence  mix well
7.  add one cup of hot water
8. bake 180 for 20mins

today at Mrs tuipolotu cooking class we made some sausage with cheese  and some tomato follow these ingredient

step 1 slice the sausages in half  

step 2 top up with cheese and tomatoes 

step 3 bake for 10 mins

step 4 serve with tomato sauce

Today on the 2nd of November  we went to tech at tamaki college here are the four steps on how to cook a fish pie.

step 1- peel the potatoes and bake until it's cooked.

step 2- mash it up and lay it out into the baking tin

step 3- mix tuna fish with half of can mash rum cream and 1/2 can of mushroom cream and 1/2 c of mayonnaise

step 4- mix well top on potato with cheese and bake for 10 mins

today at tamaki we were cooking with mrs tuipolotu we cooked quiches here are the step of make a quiches

step 1 - in one bowl put in 4 eeg and whisk

step 2 - cheese

step 3- dice ham

step 4- 1/2 cup of milk

step 5 - mix well

step 6 -scoop into muffin tray

step 7 - pas tray

step 8 - leave in it. in the oven for 15 minute

Today on Wednesday we read with the PWC visitors that published kids story into books. The book that kids all over Zealand read was called Toitoi. We had read some fascinating books like there was a book that was talking about diabetes like type 2 and type 1 and it gave us a lot of information.
The visitor that worked with our group was called Katana.

On one sunny day there was a man named andrew. Andrew is a tall man with long hair and is strong david is a man who is fast and strong also very smart they had set a goal their goal was to run a whole marathon and.    

When they got to the marathon they quickly got into there running cloth then Jerry said on your mark get set go. Then Andrew, David joged. 1 hour later some had bumped into david then got up but thought that it was Andrew. Then Andrew tired to talk to David but David never said anything.

After a little while the race was still going on but David was still mad at Andrew and then Andrew said to David why are you mad at me it because you tripped me over i didn't do it but if i did i'm sorry your apology is accepted.

So they ran and ran as long. then they ran passed a lot of people  after 2 hour then where seeing the finish line they were almost there. Then david fell down the andrew looked back and went to help him to the finish line then they had won a gold medal

One friday day  I went out to the park with my friend john and jimmy. we played on the park for two hour then we went to the shop and bought some hot chip then went  to basketball court then ate. After we ate all went back home then jimmy brushed his teeth getting ready to go sleep.

Then john saw someone climb over jimmy fens  then john went outside and heard someone whisper saying that they are going to break into jimmy house then jimmy woke up and looked where the bathroom window was and the window was wide open and jimmy was petrified to walk in the lounge.

Then he took a deep breath before going into the lounge then jimmy tip toe behind the couch and started to peak over the couch he was thinking of  being a hero. Then he bubble thinked about telling the parent.

Then he saw the two boys. After a little while jimmy tiptoe back up.then jimmy called the cop on the two boy. Then the boy heard the cops siren 20 seconds later the boy ran into the forest, Then the cop and jimmy went out looking for the two boy it was like playing hide and seek.

After like 20 minutes they heard a noise crack and found the two boys.

Making predicted

I predicted that this article was about a ceremony, because they were all sitting down in lavalava's and cooking a lot of different food. The reason why I thought this was because of the visual cues (photos). In the main photo I see a lady and younger lady so I thought they were their kids. The title seemed like they haven't seen a shark, so I thought they wanted to see a real shark.

2015 Reflection

This year I did my learning with Mrs Parker in a netbook classroom using Google Drive.

Having a netbook made it easier to do my learning and achieve my goals.

This year I learned about dinosaurs and planets

I did research on life on Neptune, I found out there is rings around Neptune. I also learned about ANZAC soldiers.

The thing I enjoyed learning about the most was doing Maths card games where we have to practice our making the number of the card up to ten, This game was good because it can help us learn our basic facts.

I still want to learn more about space because I want to know how hot it is on Mars and put the NZ flag down on the moon like an astronaut.

The class trip I enjoyed most this year was the stardome trip because we went there to learn about space and there was a park with a flying fox.

I am proud of the way I sometimes finish off my work.

Next year I am going to come back to school with good manners and finish all of my work.

                 

Today my beautiful teacher Mrs Parker shared her baking with whittaker’s chocolate company on twitter. They were impressed with her baking and sent her a box of sample chocolates for us to try. First we held the chocolate in our hand and we looked at the wrapper. It was small. Next we unwrapped it and smelt it. I felt like eating it right then. We got to nibble it, like take a little bit. Then we had to leave the chocolate inside our mouth until it melt and after that we ate it all it was yummy. and there were hokey pokey If I could create any flavour in the world it would be milky chocolate and tangy apple. It would be a gooey apple filling and  feel like a yummy tangy  apple that has just fallen off the tree. I bet my chocolate will be yummy!

In the holiday, my brother and  I went to Hoyts Cinemas to watch a movie called Pixels. Before we went into the theatre my mum bought some popcorn so we could eat during the movie. Then we went inside the theatre. I loved watching pixels because all my favourite arcade games were in the movie like PacMan and Donkey Kong.

When the movie finished my mum and dad were waiting outside for my brother and I. After that we went to Wendy’s, we ate burgers, fried chips and drank coke. The food was very yummy.

Afterwards we went back home and watched rugby.  I enjoyed my holidays and it was very fun.

what am i grateful for

This year I am grateful for coming second in high jump and grateful that my team came second in rugby, and helping my mum with her work.

When i came second in high jump, it was hard  because when you make it over, it goes higher and higher. Then when it came higher i failed jumping over the bamboo. I had fun doing it and I am grateful for coming second in high jump.

When my rugby team came second we were happy and  all of the teams we played had fun.  We were passing the ball not being greedy. With the ball you need to let someone that has never had a run have a turn with the ball. Some of the team were good we only  lost twice  but we still had fun playing rugby.

I am proud of the way I help my mum. Sometimes when me and my mum go shopping, i help her find and carry the food. When we get home I take down the washing and set up the table so we can eat.

This year I achieved coming first in high jump and rugby and helping my mum and by December I what to achieve listing to the teacher and be a good learner.   

       

Preparing for Cross Country

Today Room 7 students went out for fitness. Before we ran two laps, we had to stretch. First we jogged and then we had to sprint. It was cold, muddy and wet so I got goosebumps. We were a bit scared to run around the field because it was really big. Room 10 was also there doing laps, but they did even more! As I ran in front of my friend, the wind blew through my ears. When we were finally done, everyone sat down, cooled down and had a drink of water. I felt refreshed but I was tired.
